Having trained rigorously under the illustrious Padmashree Bharati Shivaji in Delhi, I have performed extensively across India and internationally since 1993. My work combines performance, choreography, research, and costume and set design with the aim to propagate and preserve Indian culture. I also run the Kaishiki Arts and Research Centre, where I dedicate myself to teaching and mentoring students in dance and music. Delivered workshops and lecture demonstrations for schools and organizations like SPIC MACAY. Choreographed dance dramas, musicals and annual events for schools and institutes. Served as examiner and paper setter for graduation and master’s degree exams at Rabindra Bharati University. Convened festivals like Ganga, Gomti Brahmaputra Bhasha Utsav to promote cultural unity and art in northeast India.
