Hi, I'm Genevieve Carolan, an Archivist Intern with a passion for preserving and managing historical artefacts and collections. I've had the opportunity to work with Dublin Port Company and The Little Museum of Dublin, gaining hands-on experience in archival management, conservation techniques, and digital cataloguing. In parallel with my archival roles, I've also worked in the hospitality sector, developing leadership and customer service skills. I am currently finishing my Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Creative Industries and Visual Culture at TU Dublin, where I was awarded Best Thesis for my research on the marketing of English football jerseys. I enjoy combining my academic background with practical experience to create engaging, well-researched content and exhibitions. I'm enthusiastic about continuing to grow my skills in archives, museums, and cultural sectors.
