Listening with openness and intent is more than just a passion of mine, it's my way of life. Along with my practice as a sound artist (MFA UCSD '20), I've been collaborating since 2010 in various film/video departments and production contexts: documentary, narrative, advertising, corporate, industrial, indie, performing arts, radio, TV and feature film productions. Currently based in Portland, Oregon, my mixing studio is running on Avid ProTools, Izotope RX, Logic Pro X, Genelec 5.1 surround sound monitoring, Source Connect for remote tracking and mixing, and a suite of professional microphones, Sound Devices recording gear, audio DSP, modular synthesizers, wireless microphones, location audio equipment, and more. I always work with open ears and an open mind. I especially enjoy working on projects with a focus on making underrepresented voices heard, amplifying the stories of women, BIPOC, and our LGBTQI community, making invisible histories legible, and making important ideas known through novel sonic storytelling with sound that truly moves.
