Juan Carlos del Castillo

I am Juan Carlos del Castillo, a dedicated sound technician and designer with over 27 years of experience, primarily working with the Universidad de Málaga. I specialize in sound design, mixing, and direction, having worked on documentaries, TV movies, and various audiovisual productions. Over the years, I’ve also developed a passion for teaching, sharing my expertise on podcasting and sound engineering across multiple educational platforms. I enjoy collaborating on creative sound projects and continually advancing my skills in the audio production field.

From managing sound laboratories to producing documentaries and working as a DJ, I bring a broad understanding of sound in media. I founded my own production company, Sonart Producciones, and have delivered services for national TV channels and international festivals. My approach is hands-on and professional, always aiming to deliver high-quality audio experiences while mentoring the next generation of sound professionals.
