Hi, I’m Li-Yu Liu, a Taiwanese illustrator and designer with four years of design-related experience and seven years of freelancing. I previously worked as a game artist at Walkr, handling interface component design, visual art, game props and item design, and I collaborated with engineers, UI/UX designers, and product managers to improve user experience. I enjoy illustration, graphic design, animation concept design, and storyboarding, and I have a strong track record in pitching ideas. I’ve collaborated with 3D animators, art directors, interactive engineers, film directors, web designers, and VFX artists, and I created an animated short that received awards at film festivals and was screened in multiple countries. I hold a BFA in Animation (2021) from Taipei National University of the Arts, studied Illustration as an exchange in Utrecht (2021–2022) at HKU University of the Arts Utrecht, and am pursuing an MA in Graphic Storytelling (2024–2025) at LUCA School of Arts.
