King Ketelby James

Hi, I’m Ketelby James, a multifaceted artist born in Switzerland, producer, and creative director with roots spanning Angola, Portugal, Mozambique, and India. Over the past 15 years, I’ve had the privilege of being part of an energetic rap crew “JAS CRW” across Europe before landing in Accra, where I’ve built a vibrant creative community and helped shape the cultural landscape.

I thrive on blending diverse musical and artistic influences, collaborating with talents across the globe, and creating unique soundscapes for music, film, and documentaries. Whether in the studio or directing creative projects, my goal is to keep pushing boundaries and delivering innovative work that connects people through art.

My work spans music production, solo releases, and collaborations with well-known and respected artists, including Kwesi Arthur (GH), Fuse ODG (UK), Danitsa (CH/FR), $pacely (GH), Twitch 4EVA (GH), WES7AR 22 (NG), Naomi Lareine (CH), and Ghanaian Stallion (GER/GH).

Beyond producing and releasing music, I also compose and score for films, series, documentaries, and commercials. Over the years, I’ve had the chance to shape sound for a wide range of visual projects—from intimate documentaries to award-winning short films and international campaigns.

Some of the projects I’ve scored have been recognized and awarded at major global festivals, including:

London Global Film Awards

Cannes Art Film Festival

Los Angeles International Art Film Festival

Athens Art Monthly Film Festival

Swedish International Film Festival (SIFF)

I’m passionate about using sound to tell stories—whether it’s through production, songwriting, or crafting a cinematic score that brings a scene to life.
