Shane Michaels

I’m an Emmy Award-winning filmmaker with over 20+ years of experience bringing powerful stories to life across film, television, commercials, and live events. With a deep cinematic eye and a reputation for calm leadership on set, my work fuses emotional storytelling with precise visual execution—whether I’m crafting a high-impact national commercial, directing multi-camera concert footage, or developing branded content that connects with audiences on a soul level.

My portfolio spans everything from iconic music festivals and network television to corporate campaigns and heartfelt docu-style ads. I’m looked to as a trusted collaborator by crews and clients alike, I thrive both behind the camera and behind the scenes, often wearing multiple hats: director, producer, editor, camera op, and creative problem-solver.

I’m also known for my ability to elevate a script—or build one from scratch. I know how to work with talent (human or animal), navigate complex productions, and deliver content that feels crafted, not manufactured.

Whether it’s a 30-second spot or a feature film, I always bring the same energy: clarity, creativity, and a commitment to making every frame matter.

Let’s tell a story worth remembering.
