Muhammad Ammar Akmal

I am Muhammad Ammar Akmal, a passionate and dedicated educator with a strong foundation in elementary education and student-centered teaching. I hold a Bachelor of Elementary Education (Hons) from Albukhary International University and have consistently achieved Dean’s List recognition for academic excellence. I currently serve as a Primary 5 Homeroom Teacher at Fairview International School Johor Bahru, where I support students’ academic progress, emotional well-being, and behavior.

In addition to my primary teaching role, I teach Mathematics and Malay as a Foreign Language at Global Modern International School, designing differentiated lessons to cater to upper primary learners. I have a background of working as an intern and part-time tutor, which helped me refine my lesson planning and classroom management skills. I’m tech-savvy, bilingual in English and Malay, and actively involved in student care, academic activities, and program coordination, always striving to foster holistic growth in an international-minded IB environment.
