İrem Güngez

I am Irem Güngez, a Turkish-born multidisciplinary artist based in Zürich, working with photography, video, and performance documentation. My practice explores memory, presence, and how stories are archived through images and moving image, often within exhibitions and collaborative contexts.

I studied Fine Arts at Zurich University of the Arts (MA and BA) and have participated in exchange programs in Hamburg and Ravenna. I work as an independent artist and collaborator on solo and group shows, with a focus on art documentation, installations, and live-camera performance projects. I am fluent in Turkish and English, with working knowledge of German and Italian, and I enjoy bridging diverse artistic practices and contexts.
