Terri Horricks was born in Sioux Lookout, Ontario to a military family. They settled in the Quinte Region after regular moves across the country. As a youth, the changing Canadian landscape became what was familiar. Colouring, drawing and then painting had become part of the natural progression of her life. Terri attended several Belleville high schools, a technical school in Ottawa, and Loyalist College all for the purpose of developing her design and fine art skills. She would later enroll in the fine arts program at Queen’s University, advertising and graphic design programs at Loyalist College and continuing education courses through George Brown College that included typography and illustration. Art, graphic design and business have gone hand-in-hand throughout Terri’s career history.
