I am Anka Kasperska, a passionate film director, screenwriter, and audiovisual artist based in Warsaw, Poland. I graduated from the Media Art Department at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw and completed further studies in multimedia and directing, including at the prestigious Wajda School and the Universität der Künste in Berlin. My feature film debut, Hela, has received numerous nominations and awards internationally, including the Best Debut at the 33rd Cottbus Film Festival and the Hollywood Eagle Award in Los Angeles. Beyond filmmaking, I am also deeply committed to ecology in film production, co-founding the Green Crew podcast to discuss sustainable practices in the industry.
