I am a 29-year-old cinematographer, video editor and director based in Edinburgh. Graduated from University of Coventry with a 2:1 in ‘Film and Television’. I personally define films as a form of painting in motion and a vision of the creative potential of the human imagination. I believe that my enthusiasm and passion for the scientific and art/design has encouraged me to make short films and documentary projects over the last 7 years. I have developed skills and experience in using 'Adobe Creative Suite', These software packages fuel the scientific streak in my creativity, especially when editing, which I feel is both creative and mathematical in its process, which delights me immensely. I love using my DSLR camera called 'Canon EOS 600D' and my gimble OSMO Mobile. I am from Transylvania, a very lovely place of Medieval towns and castles. During 2014-2015, I have been working as a video editor for BBC Academy in Birmingham and The Production Guild of Great Britain in London. During that time, I have visited BBC London, because I have a family friend called Liviu Tipurita who works there. He taught me about the media industry because he was also invited to Oprah's show. Afterwards, around 2017, I joined as a video editor and assistant researcher for Inspirate ImageNova Video Production, a video company based in Leicester. I have worked alongside the artist Ashokkumar Mistry, developing my experience in Media production. Working in a team, was an opportunity to understand the functions of collaboration, professional-level knowledge and practical skills. Since 2019, I become a member of the National Film Academy, as a video editor, I am working on various film projects. We submitted some projects to some film festivals. Some of the films were selected for competitions. My personal scope is to absorb as much knowledge as I can, to open as many career opportunities as conceivable within cinema.
