NYMV is the creative alias of Vasilena Petrova, an illustrator based in Switzerland. Her work focuses on narrative illustration, character-driven imagery, and imaginative visual worlds.

She has illustrated several children’s books and is currently developing her own storytelling projects, including a children’s book she is both writing and illustrating, as well as two additional book manuscripts. Her artwork blends storytelling, atmosphere, and expressive characters, often exploring themes of fantasy, nature, and emotion through rich colour and playful detail.

She is available for freelance work of various kinds and open to commissions and opportunities in the game and animation industry.

When not drawing, she enjoys crafting, cooking, and spending time in nature in search of inspiration.
