A Chicago native, she began her career in indie film before moving into TV writing, earning a staff writer position on NBC’s Medium. After the 2007 Writers Strike shifted the landscape, Vivian successfully transitioned into unscripted television, rising to Executive Producer and Showrunner roles on some of the highest-rated shows in the docu-series and competition space. Her credits include Brat Loves Judy, Toya & Reginae, The Love and Hip Hop Franchise, Real Housewives of Atlanta Presents: I Dream of NeNe, and HBO Max’s Fresh Prince of Bel-Air Reunion. She has also directed multiple music videos and three short films, including Save A Life, which premiered at the Martha’s Vineyard African American Film Festival and the British Urban Film Festival. After its festival run, the film was previously available on ALLBLK through a two-year distribution deal and is currently being explored for new platforms.
