I am a video producer and multimedia artist based in Alexandria, VA. My current role is as a video editor with Black Vine Network, which is an upcoming independent film streaming service under DC-based marketing firm The Experience Agency, where my responsibilities are currently focused on post-production and motion graphics. I work with the production team to prepare footage, edit clips, and create graphics and effects according to our storyboards and directors' notes. Most recently, I completed two online ad bumpers for the BVN service, using a combination of stock footage and clips from our shows currently in production. Before BVN, I was contracteed with HADPRO, a kitchen exhaust cleaning service, who wanted to expand their brand by adapting their dense training and protocol manuals into more accessible videos. I worked with the company's manager to grab footage and photographs of the work being done and the relevant equipment, then edited it and added motion graphics and additional text to produce the final product. I produced seven videos for HADPRO with a range of length from five to twenty-five minutes long, depending on the subject of the video and complexity of the tasks. This was an "all-rounder" role for me, which I would describe as my forte--an even blend of pre-production, filming, and post-production. I have also worked on contract for Allied Title & Escrow as their cinematographer, another "all-rounder" role, the duties of which I would strongly compare to this position. Allied had a very wide variety of video clients, from real estate agents to local businesses to larger firms cross-country. As a result, I was fortunate to gain a wide variety of experience with filming and directing testimonials, online advertisements, bumpers, and podcasts. My longest and most intensive project was our contract with TIDL, a topical athletic spray company, who wanted to revamp their marketing to reach a wider target audience than their previously all-male, "gym rat" demographic. I spent about two months producing tons of shorts and product shots for Instagram and TikTok. I took footage and photographs of both people and the product itself both in-studio and on location, then edited the pieces in Photoshop and Premiere. It was a massive undertaking with many long hours, and I'm still very proud of our work.
