Viktor Jartas

I’m Viktor Jartas, a Cinematographer and Lead Camera Operator based in Budapest, with over 22 years of experience across film, television, documentary, news, and live broadcasts. I’ve collaborated with directors, producers, and international journalism teams throughout Europe and have delivered cinematic visuals from remote and challenging environments, including conflict zones. I thrive in fast-paced, high-pressure settings and excel in live multi-camera studio workflows and field productions.

In my career, I’ve worked on award-winning European documentary projects, served as Director of Photography and Senior Camera Operator on feature films and TV programs, and completed long-term engagements with RTL. I’m proficient in ENG coverage, remote shoots, and delivering broadcast-quality visuals under extreme conditions, with a strong emphasis on collaboration with diverse teams and stakeholders.
