I had the opportunity to make a 2 minute animation in the film called “Clair de Lune”. The fluid strokes, morphings represent a chaotic trip inside the protagonist’s mind, a never ending loop that she trying to escape from.
The animation was made with oil paint, frame-by frame. And of course no AI.
An artistic music video, made with a unique oil-painted technique and little digital painting.
The song “Pretty Sailor” is essentially a continuation of the “Pirate Jenny” ballad from Bertolt Brecht’s play “The Threepenny Opera”. The Woman is the object of fantasy and desire, the unattainable, and the Goddess. No matter how strong and free we may feel, if the beloved Woman asks us for something, we will do it. If we have to give up something for her, we will. And if we mistreat her or fail to satisfy her, she will destroy us.
