Hi, I’m Will – a freelance video editor based in Bristol, UK with over 15 years of experience cutting everything from broadcast TV to digital content and branded stories. I’ve worked across a range of genres including documentary, factual entertainment, sport, and promos. I bring a calm, collaborative approach to the edit, and I’m as comfortable shaping narrative as I am finessing pace, music, and motion graphics. I’m fully set up for remote work with Adobe Premiere Pro and DaVinci Resolve, and I’ve also got strong Avid skills from my time in post houses and OB trucks. Clients have included major UK broadcasters, indie production companies, global brands, and top-tier streaming platforms including Netflix, Apple TV+, and Disney+. My work has featured on award-winning series and campaigns, including projects recognised by BAFTA, RTS and Broadcast awards juries. When I’m not editing, you’ll probably find me out with a camera taking photos or shouting at the Arsenal on the telly. Let’s chat – I’m currently available for freelance bookings.

paper Mamas Season 2 – Plimsoll for Roku
Editing the second season of a returning format for an American streaming platform, the film is character led and focuses on the role of mothers in the natural world showcasing the different challenges they all face. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9uyM8lvTjnI
paper Blue Planet Live Revisited: The Great Barrier Reef – BBC One
Using footage shot on location for Blue Planet Live, I edited this special for the BBC and Worldwide. https://www.twine.net/signin
paper Secrets of the Penguins - Talesmith for Nat Geo
As one of the series’s editors, I have been responsible for cutting a number of key blue chip and presenter led sequences. Working closely with producers and executives I have been able to use my skills to help develop characters and showcase animal behaviours. https://www.twine.net/signin
paper Marcus Wareing’s Tales from A Kitchen Garden – Plimsoll for BBC
Editing multiple episodes for series two, including its debut, the schedule was incredibly tight and so making sure I hit the brief from the commissioners was paramount. paper Our Planet II & Life on Our Planet BTS – Silverback for Netflix

paper Swede Caroline – Belstone Pictures - (Independent Feature)
On this project I was responsible for doing the first cut of the film in order for it to be submitted to the SXSW Film Festival. I worked closely with the directors in order to fulfil their vision for the film while working to a very tight deadline. This experience, working on a drama, was new for me but I felt that I was able to effectively utilise my skills as a storyteller from working in natural history documentaries. Being aware of the key elements to a scene was an important skill to grasp and I feel that my time on this project has helped to develop my storytelling skills even further. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7-rmi-bAaNU
