    paper Adobe Aero | Augmented Reality | Route&Roots Magazine

    Driven by a love of travel, Route & Roots passionately reveals Malaysia’s beauty. Explore the nation’s vibrant traditions, historical wonders, and secret corners through breathtaking photography and compelling narratives.

    This is my exciting individual project working mainly on “Route & Roots” as Malaysia Cultural Traveling magazine. To allow more interaction, I created illustrations over the magazine, static and Augmented Reality poster, customized rubber stamp, and merchandises of postcards, stickers, mirror, and 3D cardboard showcase. The whole project with the AR interaction was exhibited at GMBB, Kuala Lumpur in December 2024.

    All created in Adobe Aero, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Lightroom, Adobe Photoshop, Blender by Windy Yeoh Wei Wei.

    I’m excited to finally share the artwork I designed for the SOART exhibition! As the Head of the Department of Design and Publicity for the event, I poured my heart into creating visuals that truly captured the spirit of SOART.

    SOART is all about giving young designers the freedom to express themselves and break free from traditional constraints. That’s why I chose a vibrant color scheme set against a darker backdrop – it symbolizes the spark of creativity igniting and pushing boundaries.

    This project was a fantastic opportunity to showcase my design skills and visual aesthetic. I’m particularly proud of trying out a new style of design with impactful visual. You’ll also notice some reinterpretations of classic artworks – a nod to the foundations upon which we build our own creative expressions.

    Disclaimer: It’s important to acknowledge that the SOART logo, mascot, and certain design elements were not solely my creation, but rather the result of collaborative efforts from the entire SOART team members. I’m grateful for their contributions and proud to have worked alongside such talented individuals.
