I’m Wisdom Akata, a political science graduate and multidisciplinary creative leader based in Lagos, Nigeria. I combine governance-focused storytelling with hands-on filmmaking training to produce stage and screen projects that spark conversations about leadership, civic participation, and everyday social realities.
I’ve worked as a producer and creative director on large-scale productions and drama concerts, and I also founded a multidisciplinary initiative that brings writers, actors, editors, and production teams together around themes of identity, power, and governance. Whether directing, screenwriting, or supporting production coordination, I’m driven by using film and the arts to build dialogue and support inclusive community change.
