Growing up, I liked to explore different art forms, such as drawing, digital, sculpture, ceramics, and music. I took an AP Art class in high school, which opened my eyes to the world of illustration and creating images that tell a story.
In 2010, I began studying Illustration at Ringling College of Art and Design. In May 2014, I received my Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree. While at college, I developed my skills and enjoyed learning new mediums to work with. Ringling helped me form a strong foundation with vector art through Adobe Illustrator.
Throughout my design career, I have had the opportunity to grow as an artist and designer. Pacific Coast Memorials taught me creative problem-solving. While designing and creating the customer’s memorial, I had to keep in mind the limitations of granite, communicate to the customer if adjustments were needed, in addition to creating workarounds for more complex projects.
4Front gave me a strong foundation in marketing, advertising, and typography. I designed and adjusted packaging for multiple brands across different states and successfully re-branded three of their brands. In addition, I produced illustrations for packaging, apparel, posters, websites, social media, and other merchandise. Created marketing assets including full ad campaigns, social media, print, emails, and other web application assets for brand launches, new flavors, sales, and events.
