    The Saltport Marina brand required a cohesive collection of seamless surface patterns that captured a minimal, restrained, and airy coastal vibe. The primary objective was to establish an upscale, heirloom preppy aesthetic suitable for a variety of high-end home furnishings and textiles. I developed a comprehensive suite of seamless repeat patterns utilizing a disciplined ink-and-wash technique. I restricted the delicate artwork to a monochromatic blue or black palette on crisp white grounds. To control negative space and maintain visual flow, I engineered highly technical repeat structures, including staggered half-drops, interlocking ogee frames, and beaded diamond lattices.
