Nova Scotia Skills Competition Highlights — Captured simultaneous competition activities, participant interviews and decisive moments for annual event coverage, supporting a flagship highlights film and four promotional cutdowns. 4. StartUp Stories — Principal cinematographer for a five-part YWCA Halifax documentary series following women entrepreneurs, including newcomers. Captured interviews and business activities and contributed editing for films promoting the businesses and YWCA’s entrepreneurship programme. 5. Led story development, documentary writing, filming and editing, revealing the creative decisions, technical challenges and human effort behind the production. 2. Sail to the Future (2017) — Directed the behind-the-scenes documentary on the BRICS Xiamen Summit gala, shaping rehearsals, artistic collaboration and technical preparations into an accessible story about the people creating the performance. 3. Hangzhou Time (2018) — Directed an 80-minute, two-part documentary following Hangzhou’s Asian Games flag-handover performance. Led the documentary’s narrative and filmmaking across Hangzhou and Jakarta, connecting creative development, rehearsals and final execution. 4. Corporate & Consumer Brand Films (2012–2015) — Directed, filmed and edited corporate and branded content, including internal films for PKU Resources Group, documentary-style stories produced with iQIYI for CITIC Bank’s 25th anniversary, and a scripted Audi A1 online promotion tied to Meng Jinghui’s musical First Love. Adapted visual style, performance and editorial rhythm to different brands, audiences and communication goals. 5. Startup, Product & Technical Films (2012–2015) — Created brand and promotional films for businesses working in energy, nuclear safety and environmentally focused products. Translated unfamiliar technologies and business concepts into accessible visual stories, combining purposeful cinematography, clear narrative structure and polished editing for corporate presentations, promotional campaigns and trade-show use.
