I am originally from New Jersey and have been living in Spain for almost ten years. I have more than 25 years of experience in audiovisual production, photography, corporate communications, and public relations. I have worked for production companies such as Zeitun Films with Felipe Lage, directors Carl T. Evans and Rainer Kirberg, among others, and was an apprentice to the renowned photographer Donald Lokuta. As you can see in my CV, I have mainly worked in recent years in corporate communications, something that, combined with my experience in the audiovisual sector, makes me a strong candidate to for this role. For example, as the Digital Communications Manager at Oceana, I supervised a team of six people and, among other responsibilities such as project management and media pitching, was in charge of all digital outputs (images, videos, web, etc.) between 2018 and 2023. In addition, what I believe stands out most about me as a potential candidate is that one of my main responsibilities for this NGO was to seek out and capture projects to form collaborations with other organizations or influencers for fundraising or to raise Oceana’s brand profile in Europe. That is to say, I had to proactively approach private organizations such as, for example, production companies, international television networks, or maintain public relations with actors such as Ted Danson, Miguel Bosé, or Miguel Ángel Silvestre.
