I am Yurii Pikush, a Ukrainian composer and musician born in Dnipro. I studied mandolin at the Dnipro Music Academy (2013–2017) and then pursued composition at the Kyiv National Music Academy of Ukraine, earning a bachelor’s degree (2017–2022) and a master’s degree (2022–2023). My works have been performed at numerous international festivals and I have benefited from many master classes with leading contemporary composers and ensembles. I have received several prizes and scholarships. I am active in contemporary music, participating in projects, residencies, and competitions worldwide, and I enjoy collaborative work with ensembles like Kyiv Camerata and Basel Sinfonietta. I continually explore new forms and media through transdisciplinary projects and international master classes.
