Hi, I'm Zoe Wynns (aka Contagonist)! I'm a fourth-year student at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, a top 30 University. I'm pursuing B.A's in Music Composition and Creative Writing with a minor in Screenwriting. I've been playing piano for over 16 years, singing, producing and composing for over seven, and I've created over 500 songs and 15 short film soundtracks. My self-produced music has reached over 100k streams on all platforms. I am a composer and singer-songwriter who enjoys composing dark, electronic, ambient scores for film and video games. Influenced by composers such as Marco Beltrami, Disasterpeace, Volker Bertelmann, Ludwig Göransson, Ben Salisbury, and Geoff Barrow, I take dark, atmospheric and melodic electronic and cinematic compositions and aligns it with storytelling in the way only a writer can. My score for the short film "Lockdown" won "Best Score" at the Carolina Film Association Awards in 2024. My first video game soundtrack, "Oncoming Drift," was released on IOS and Android in January with the soundtrack available on all streaming platforms. I have a cat and a crazy dog, I'm addicted to playing Minecraft, I'm obsessed with sweets, and I love listening to rock and metal music!
