Hi, I’m Alex Burnett. I’m a professional composer and sound designer for games, film and TV with over a decade of experience in the creative industries. Games I’ve worked on include Atomfall, Nightingale and F1 Manager 2022/2023/2024. I’m known for delivering music and sound design to the highest quality and going above and beyond client expectations. I write in a broad range of styles and have worked on everything from indie to AA/AAA titles, collaborating effectively with teams of many different sizes on a range of projects from delivering music/sound design to in-depth involvement in audio teams contributing to the design and development of dynamic music systems.
I love collaborating with in-house audio teams and indie studios alike. I’m also comfortable with game audio implementation (Wwise/Unity) as well as live recording sessions having collaborated with musicians on multiple projects as well as recording my own instruments. I enjoy crafting unique hybrid sound palettes including experimental elements like my ‘Apprehension Engine’ horror soundbox which was featured on the Nightingale soundtrack and my collection of world woodwind instruments, some of which I recorded for Atomfall. My soundtracks are often very atmospheric with memorable thematic elements and a cinematic flair. My clients include Rebellion, Inflexion, Frontier, ARTE/La Belle, Channel 4 and Panasonic. I also handle music arranging/orchestration, audio editing/mixing/mastering and game audio design at a professional level.
