Andrew Genser is a writer-producer with nearly two decades’ experience working in TV/Streaming. He got his start writing on E! Network’s long-running comedy show “The Soup”. That “start” ended up lasting 10 years, during which Andrew wrote millions of jokes, several of them even good. Andrew finished his tenure there as Co-EP, and then went on to write for numerous other comedy shows (“The Joel McHale Show”, “Good Mythical Morning”, “Martha & Snoop’s Potluck Dinner Party”, and more!) as well as executive produce several pilots for Lionsgate (“Inappropriate Game Show”) and E! Network (“Dub Wars”). He is currently a producer at “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” On the film side, Andrew co-wrote the Bigfoot rom-com feature, STOMPING GROUND, which played at festivals across the country, won a special jury award at the Indie Memphis Film Festival, and is available on DVD and VOD through Brinkvision. Aside from writing and producing comedy for a TV and streaming audience, Andrew has also written, developed, and pitched numerous half-hour comedies with the likes of Brian Yorkey (“13 Reasons Why”), Joel McHale, Howie Mandel, and Mayim Bialik, to name a few. Currently, Andrew is developing a unique hybrid comedy with Joel McHale and Howie Mandel.
