I am a Belgian traveler on a lifelong journey, seeking a place where I will be able to set foot and put to good use my artistic skills and my passion for video game making. When it comes to professional experience, I worked with an indie French studio on illustrations and concepts for their in-development game called Anazir, and also worked on a few commissions as a freelance artist, multiple related to video game projects. My background in fine arts has strengthened my fundamentals and opened me to a sensitivity to illustration and to the creation of universes. After that, I wanted to further develop my skills by taking a course in 2D/3D game art, where I strengthened my abilities in concept art and 2D animation and learned the basics of 3D workflows, including rigging, animation, and asset integration in Unity. This training culminated in the production of the game Where Lines Meet, a project I worked on for two months as a 2D and 3D artist, as well as game designer, narrative designer, and project manager. I was assisted by three other colleagues, including an artist, a game designer, and the sole programmer. Regarding my skills, I am quite versatile in terms of artistic styles, but as you can see in my portfolio, I have a particular affinity for stylized/semi-realism. I am proficient in Photoshop, and the training mentioned above has allowed me to become relatively comfortable with Blender. In addition, the numerous game jams I have participated in over the past few years are a testament to my thirst for continuous learning and my passion for video game development.
