I'm a freelance audio editor and musician who specialises in post production audio, particularly in podcast production, audiobook editing, sound design and media composition. I graduated in 2022 as a mature student from The University of Keele, UK, gaining a combined first class honours degree in Film Theory and Music Technology. My undergrad research was based around post production sound for film, and media composition. The film theory side of my degree gave me a strong understanding of narrative and story-telling, providing the skills necessary when creating projects where narrative is key, particularly in sound design, audiobook editing etc. I have been performing and writing with the UK indie band Camp Stag since 2011. Camp Stag have featured on UK national radio (BBC Radio One and BBC 6 Music), performed at several major UK music festivals (including Glastonbury), recording and releasing music under their own independent label. --- **Employment and project experience* Since graduating, I have worked on projects including podcast production and film scoring, examples of which can be found in my portfolio.

paper The Drop City Books Podcast

Drop City Books is an independent bookstore in Stoke on Trent, UK. The client was looking to create a fun, informal podcast that reflected some of the goings-on of their vibrant, inclusive space, without any of the pretentiousness sometimes found in book review type podcasts. Presented and editorially created by the client, I was responsible for the recording (located within the bookshop), editing, production and music composition. Listen to the first episode here:
