paper HelpWell – Berlin’s Premium Home & Wellness Marketplace

HelpWell was created to solve four core problems in Berlin: a fragmented home and wellness market with no single trusted platform, professionals who struggle to reach quality clients, constant language friction for expats, and the time poverty of urban professionals trying to coordinate services. Research into Berlin’s expat and professional population, service pricing, and market size shaped the opportunity thesis and defined a focused initial segment of 400–500k target professionals aged 25–50.

The solution is a vetted marketplace that connects users to verified providers across home services, beauty, and wellness, with transparent pricing, instant booking, and in‑platform support. On the provider side, HelpWell offers better access to premium clients, scheduling tools, and SaaS‑style upsell features, turning one‑off gigs into repeatable, higher‑value work.

The case study covers defining the market (TAM/SAM/SOM across home, beauty, and health), modelling a commission‑based business (transaction fees plus provider tools), and mapping a phased go‑to‑market starting with Berlin and expanding to other German cities and, later, Europe. It also explores competitive positioning against players like TaskRabbit and Treatwell by focusing on at‑home services, verified professionals, and English‑first experiences tailored to Berlin’s expat community.

paper NexaHospitalityAI – AI Mission Control for Modern Hotels

NexaHospitalityAI is an AI‑powered operations cockpit for hotels and hostels that brings guest messaging, bookings, rooms, and staff workflows into a single, real‑time system. The goal was to design something that feels as simple as a modern SaaS tool, but powerful enough to replace spreadsheets, scattered inboxes, and manual tracking across WhatsApp, email, SMS, and PMS exports.

The product centers on a “Mission Control” dashboard showing live check‑ins/check‑outs, occupancy, housekeeping status, alerts, and KPIs like revenue and guest satisfaction, so teams see exactly what needs attention right now. On top of that sits a unified inbox and AI guest assistant: one place where staff can handle all guest conversations, use AI‑suggested replies, and safely escalate edge cases to humans, in both German and English.

End‑to‑end flows cover importing bookings, smart room assignment, checkout and balance tracking, upsell suggestions (late checkout, upgrades, etc.), and a structured task system for housekeeping and maintenance linked to specific rooms and beds. A guest intelligence layer adds profiles with visit history, preferences, lifetime value, and GDPR‑ready consent tools, plus analytics dashboards for revenue, occupancy, automation rate, and response times.

From a UX and tech side, this project involved designing a responsive dark‑mode interface with clear navigation, loading and empty states, and an always‑available AI co‑pilot, then implementing it with Next.js 14, TypeScript, internationalisation, and a mock data layer ready to plug into real hotel systems. The result is a production‑ready blueprint for hospitality teams who want to modernise operations and guest communication without stitching together multiple tools.

paper NexaRealEstate – AI Automation Co‑Pilot for German Real Estate Agents

NexaRealEstate is a concept for an AI automation platform built specifically for German real estate agents who are drowning in leads, admin work, and disconnected tools. The objective was to design an “intelligent co‑pilot” that reduces busywork and lets solo agents and small teams focus on relationship building and closing deals.

The case study starts with the market reality in Germany: volatile prices, high competition from PropTech platforms, and clients who expect fast, digital communication. Agents are working 60+ hour weeks, juggling leads from ImmobilienScout24, ImmoWelt, websites, and social media, while still tracking follow‑ups in spreadsheets, WhatsApp, and personal notes. This research helped define three core problem areas: lead management chaos, time‑consuming communication workflows, and fragmented operational systems.

To address this, the solution is structured into three main modules. The Intelligent Lead Management Hub centralises leads from all sources, scores them using AI (budget, timing, responsiveness, location fit), and triggers automated but personalised nurturing flows. The Smart Communication Automation layer brings WhatsApp, email, SMS, and calls into a single inbox, auto‑generates responses in German or English, and handles repetitive information like property details and viewing confirmations. Finally, the Unified Operations Dashboard gives agents a visual pipeline, smart calendar with conflict‑free scheduling, performance analytics, and integrations for MLS data, banking, and legal templates.

Throughout the project, the focus is on German‑specific details: GDPR‑compliant consent, local terminology, platform integrations, and workflows that match how agents actually sell. The result is a clear product story and UX concept that shows how AI can help German agents work fewer admin hours, stop losing leads, and scale their business without losing the personal, boutique service their clients expect.

paper UrbanPiper POS Overhaul – 17.4% CSAT Lift Across 4+ Countries

Led the end‑to‑end UX overhaul of UrbanPiper’s restaurant SaaS platform and POS used by merchants in 4+ countries, with a clear mandate to simplify operations and improve the dining and ordering experience for both staff and guests. Partnered with PMs, designers, and engineers to turn stakeholder insights, usability tests, and on‑site research at restaurants into a streamlined, accessible interface for order management, inventory, and table reservations.

The redesign introduced a clearer IA, faster order flows, and responsive, brand‑aligned UI that works reliably in busy, low‑attention environments, from handheld devices to counter POS terminals. Prototyped and validated key journeys directly at merchants’ locations, iterating on interaction patterns, information density, and error states to reduce friction during peak hours.

Post‑launch, the new experience drove a ~17.4% jump in CSAT, improved adoption, and better day‑to‑day efficiency for restaurant teams, while giving UrbanPiper a cohesive product story aligned with its SaaS brand. This case showcases ability to lead cross‑functional teams, run user research, ship production‑ready UX for complex B2B workflows, and continuously optimise based on live metrics and feedback

paper Poetistic – End‑to‑End Product & UX for a 160k+ User Poetry Platform

Co‑founded and led product design for Poetistic, a digital platform built to solve the real problems poets face around earning, learning, publishing, and reading. The goal was to move beyond vanity publishing and create a sustainable ecosystem where poets can improve their craft, reach an audience, and monetise their work.

Kicked off with user surveys and interviews across aspiring and professional poets to understand barriers around income, access to learning, publishing friction, and poor reading experiences on ad‑heavy platforms. Synthesised this into clear problem spaces and designed product pillars for monetisation tools, structured learning resources, seamless publishing flows, and a calm, focused reading experience.

Defined user journeys and personas (for example, Anjali – an aspiring, tech‑savvy poet) that cover awareness, exploration, sign‑up, publishing, engagement, and long‑term growth, and used these to guide IA and feature decisions. Introduced intuitive flows for submitting poems, getting feedback, participating in workshops, and surfacing relevant content so poets stay engaged and keep improving.

Crafted a monochromatic gray visual system that puts the poetry first: high contrast, strong typography, and minimal distractions to create a timeless, gallery‑like reading environment. Combined with responsive layouts and a restrained UI, Poetistic stands out from loud, ad‑driven content sites and supports deep reading, discovery, and community at scale

paper Casino Management UX – Host & CRM Platform for Casino Teams

Designed an end‑to‑end casino management platform for hosts and management to fix fragmented communication, manual spreadsheets, and poor visibility into high‑value players. Kicked off with stakeholder interviews to uncover core issues across communication, integrations, compliance, event management, and performance tracking, then translated these into clear personas, user journeys, and a focused product scope.

Defined the full IA and sitemap across dashboards, player profiles, team management, events, business rules, reports, tasks, analytics, notifications, and settings so hosts can access key information in one or two clicks. Designed flows that let hosts see player history, plan and log outreach, manage invitations and responses to events, and track their KPIs in a single system instead of scattered tools.

Built a modular design system optimised for busy casino floors, with clear hierarchy, stateful components, and permission‑aware patterns to support security and regulatory requirements. The resulting platform replaces error‑prone manual processes, improves response times for VIP guests, and gives management a real‑time, data‑driven view of customer relationships and team performance.
