I am a recent college graduate that has been using Unity and C# to develop on the side as personal projects for about four to five years. I believe in good communication across the various disciplines, clear documentation of goals and systems primarily done through visual aids. I take a player-centric philosophy, where eccentricities can become features, capturing imaginations is key, and efficient systems should maintain stability in that experience. As an avid gamer of many niche titles, I believe that love and trust of a team and their titles is of upmost importance. I've sunk many hours into analyzing and enjoying many video game experiences: numerous scrappy games through Starcraft: Broodwar UMS maps, delved into grindy experiences of Diablo 2, sandboxes of Rimwold and Minecraft, fast-paced strategy and execution of League of Legends and Super Smash Brothers, elegance in design of Left 4 Dead 2, cerebral strategy of Slay the Spire, fell in love with the strange surreal worlds of Antichamber and Just More Doors, and charming puzzlers of Meteos, Is This Seat Taken?, and 20 Small Mazes. I hope to channel the interactions of systems, discovery of rules and mechanics, and engaging nature of my inspirations into my work.
