As the composer for the BBC television series Day of the Triffids, I crafted a haunting and immersive score that enhances the series’ atmospheric storytelling. My work aimed to capture the tension and suspense of this classic sci-fi narrative, intertwining evocative melodies with dynamic soundscapes. This project allowed me to explore the emotional depth of the story, bringing the world of the Triffids to life through music that resonates with both fans of the genre and new audiences alike.
As a creative musician and a founding member of Movieland, I played a role in the Vancouver music scene of the 1990s with our distinctive shoegaze sound. I’m excited to announce the re-release of our classic tracks through 604 Records on the compilation album Then & Now, which highlights the timeless essence of our music. Additionally, I’m proud to introduce Now & Then, a new album coming in 2025 that showcases my evolution as an artist while honoring our roots. This journey reflects my passion for creating engaging soundscapes and narratives, blending nostalgia with fresh inspiration as I continue to explore new artistic avenues.
