Amari – The Sand Monk

Amari – The Sand Monk is a character concept design focused on creating a mystical warrior rooted in desert culture and survival. The goal of the project was to explore how materials, textures, and storytelling details could define the identity of a nomadic monk living in a world shaped by scarcity and ritual.
The design combines ancient craftsmanship and elemental symbolism — fine silk crafted by the tribe, rusted armor repurposed from fallen warriors, and magma-infused gauntlets that channel inner energy during combat. Every element was chosen to communicate endurance, spirituality, and the passage of time in a harsh desert setting.
This project showcases my approach to concept development, material exploration, and narrative-driven design, emphasizing how texture and color can build character depth even before animation or dialogue. #illustrator #webdesigner #designer
