I'm Alex, a visual storyteller with a passion for creating compelling images, in both video and photography. I capture moments with precision, then bring projects to life through editing and post-production, always keeping a close eye on detail and quality. I also have a strong affinity for 3D and visual effects, modeling, lighting, rigging, simulation, and compositing. Alongside this, I regularly work on on-set projects (filming, coordination, prep, and production support), and I'm constantly learning new creative tools and AI workflows to improve my results and support teams efficiently across a wide range of photo and video productions.

"Les Illuminés" Short Film Nikon Film Festival

A short film made for the Nikon Film Festival, shot in under 2 minutes 20 seconds with my brother and a group of friends, entirely self-funded. We filmed it in one winter night in Montreal with zero budget, just creativity and a lot of fun, one of my favorite memories. We were also lucky enough to get studio time to record voice dubbing and sound, and handle the full audio mix professionally.

    Physalis Food Hollyday 2024

Filmed at a chalet in Canada with two close friends who work as chefs, this project captures a full day of cooking, laughter, and good food shared together. My friends prepared a generous spread of meat, fish, and vegetables, plenty of dishes, all cooked outdoors and in the chalet kitchen, while I filmed the whole process from prep to plating. The whole shoot leaned into a “bon vivant” spirit: relaxed, warm, and centered around the simple pleasure of cooking and eating well with people you love. It wasn’t a client job, just a fun afternoon between friends, but it gave me a great excuse to practice food and lifestyle videography in a real, unscripted setting, chasing natural light and honest, unposed moments rather than staged shots.

    Physalis Food Hollyday 2025

A year later, same friends, same chalet in Canada, another full day of cooking and filming together. This time we pushed the “bon vivant” theme even further, more dishes, more variety: meat, fish, and vegetables cooked in every way imaginable, shared over one long, relaxed day outdoors. As the chefs worked through the menu, I moved around them with the camera, capturing the energy of the kitchen, the textures of the food, and the easy, unscripted moments between courses. Like the first video, this wasn’t a paid shoot, just friends having a great time together, but it let me keep developing my food and lifestyle videography, this time with a better sense of pacing and a clearer visual style after a year of practice.

    Cold exposure Podcast - o2co2

A ~50-minute podcast on the benefits of cold exposure, featuring an athlete who spent over 4 hours in freezing water up to his neck. He talks about his journey, resilience, his relationship to difficulty and sport, and how he manages his mindset under extreme conditions. I handled everything from A to Z: editing, subtitles, lighting, and video, working alongside a friend on the filming.

Nothing is better than an old Porsche

My final project after 3 years studying 3D animation and VFX in Canada.
A fun, hands-on piece that brought together everything I’d learned, from modeling to lighting and compositing.
