Captured audio using live equipment and with live instruments. Drums recorded in a practice room with an Audix FP7 8-piece mic kit. Guitar and bass with amps and live equipment. Practiced microphone placement, phase alignment, and adjusting. Applied editing to solve problems in tracking to save time and stay on track with production. Mixed audio with live-captured instruments. Recorded a multi-track with microphones and an 8-input interface to be mixed, balanced, and blended with light EQ and compression to draft different mixes for Cynical. Edited audio to better fit a grid and adjusted pitch and timing issues. Specifically, bass guitar needed editing to match drums and guitar on sections of Cynical's album. Applied re-tuning software for polyphonic instruments to not clash with other instruments. Collaborated with clients to achieve a professional product and performance.
