Offer-Led Campaign Strategy
Identified that the fastest path from social media to real-world action was through a high-perceivedvalue offer. Developed and positioned an Unlimited Hotpot Experience, 200+ items, emphasizing
variety, abundance, and value. The strategic shift: instead of promoting a restaurant, we sold an
irresistible experience.Creative Direction & Content
Directed the creative approach for all campaign content:
• Clear, bold messaging around the unlimited offer
• Scroll-stopping visuals highlighting abundance and variety
• Straightforward communication, audience understood the value within seconds
• Urgency and scarcity built into the messaging without being gimmickyCampaign Launch & Management
Launched and managed the campaign targeting local audiences ready to dine out. Prioritized content
that:
• Highlighted the 200+ item variety as the hero message
• Emphasized price vs. value, making the decision feel obvious
• Created a sense of ‘you need to try this’ rather than ‘this is a deal’The Result Nobody Expected
The campaign generated demand so rapidly that the restaurant hit capacity within days of launch.
Tables were fully booked, the team was turning customers away, and the decision was made to pause
the campaign entirely until operations could keep up with demand.
Driving so many bookings, the campaign had to be paused
Project Overview
MeLau Hotpot Buffet partnered with me to drive bookings and create consistent, high-volume demand
through a social media campaign. The objective was simple and direct: fill tables and build repeatable
demand for the dining experience. What happened exceeded every expectation.
The Challenge
• Standing out in a highly competitive food and dining market with many similar offerings
• Driving immediate bookings, not just passive awareness or engagement
• Creating a compelling enough offer to drive real action without cheapening brand perception
• Generating consistent footfall, not just a one-off spike

Too many bookings
30 Days
Time to full capacity
The campaign generated such high demand that the restaurant began turning customers
away and the campaign had to be paused. When a social media campaign literally outpaces
a restaurant’s capacity to serve customers, that’s the definition of results.
We had to pause the campaign because we had too many bookings. That’s the kind of problem I love
creating for clients.
Brand & Audience Research
Analyzed competitor restaurant pages in the American casual dining space, studied current content
trends in food and hospitality (particularly short-form video), and mapped audience behavior patterns.
Key insight: highly polished content was underperforming compared to high-energy, slightly unfiltered
visuals that felt immersive, real, and ‘you had to be there.’Full Creative Repositioning
Shifted the brand’s entire social identity from ‘just another restaurant page’ to a lifestyle-driven, vibe-first
presence:
• Experience over food — the feeling, not just the dish
• Warmer tones and dynamic shot composition
• Movement in content — pouring drinks, sizzling food, crowd energy
• A ‘you had to be there’ feeling that made audiences want to visitReel-First Content Strategy
Introduced a Reel-first content approach built around three core pillars:
• Relatable Moments — friends, casual dining, fun interactions
• Product Highlights — hero dishes and signature drinks styled dynamically
• Social Proof & Atmosphere — crowd shots, real reactions, venue energy
Also optimized hooks in the first 2–3 seconds of every video, short-form storytelling structure, and
captions that felt natural and conversational rather than corporateOngoing Management & Optimization
Managed the full social media operation over 12+ months, content calendar, briefing, scheduling,
community management, and monthly performance analysis. Continuously refined the strategy based
on data, doubling down on what worked and iterating away from what didn’t.
Transforming a flat social presence into a vibe-first, high-engagement brand
Project Overview
Yankees Restaurant & Bar is an American casual dining destination with genuinely great food — but a
social media presence that didn’t come close to reflecting it. When they came to me, their digital identity
had no personality, their content wasn’t stopping anyone mid-scroll, and engagement was low despite
posting consistently. They needed a full creative repositioning, not just better photos.
The Challenge
• No distinct brand identity or recognizable vibe on social media
• Static, uninspired content that failed to reflect the energy of American casual dining
• Low scroll-stopping power, content blended into the feed, not stood out from it
• Minimal organic engagement despite consistent posting frequency
Before vs. After

Content became significantly more scroll-stopping, leading to higher visibility and

evolving from a static, low-energy presence to a visually engaging, experience-led brand.
Sustaining Attention During Delays
Instead of going silent during construction delays, I built a content strategy specifically designed to
sustain momentum. Countdown-based content, teaser reels, and curiosity-driven posts kept the brand
top-of-mind, so when doors finally opened, the audience was already warmed up and waiting.Pre-Launch Content Strategy
Positioned the restaurant as something to look forward to, not just another new venue. Content focused
on controlled reveals, sneak peeks, and ‘something exciting is coming’ messaging that created organic
conversation and anticipation before the launch happened.Exclusive Influencer Night (Soft Launch)
Before the official public opening, I organized an exclusive influencer preview night, curating local food
and lifestyle influencers aligned with the brand’s identity, inviting them for a full dining experience
before anyone else. The goal: turn influencers into early storytellers and brand advocates, not just paid
promoters.Paid Amplification of Influencer Content
Identified top-performing influencer videos and repurposed them as paid social ads to reach a wider
audience. This created a powerful compound effect:
• Influencer authenticity → audience trust
• Paid amplification → dramatically increased reach
• Organic social proof → higher conversion to reservations
Project Overview
Gunpowder Restaurant had been operating successfully in Hong Kong. When they opened a new
venue in Australia, they came to me not just to announce the opening, but to build real anticipation,
generate buzz, and drive reservations before the doors even opened. The added challenge: a venue
delay created a longer-than-expected gap between announcement and launch.
The Challenge
• Delayed venue completion created a long gap between announcement and opening day
• Risk of audience losing interest and buzz dying out before launch
• No existing brand recognition or conversation in the Australian market
• Needed to convert awareness directly into footfall and reservations, not just likes
What I Did
Results
Strong Pre-Launch Buzz
Organic brand conversations
Early Reservations
Bookings before opening day
Influencer Content Scaled
Organics → paid ads
The campaign generated strong pre-launch excitement, noticeably increased brand
conversations, and drove reservations before the official opening, proving that a well-executed build-up is as valuable as the launch itself.
Market & Competitor Analysis
Conducted a deep audit of the competitive landscape, how key players positioned themselves, what
content formats performed in the niche, and where gaps existed. Key insight: most competitors were
either overly polished or purely product-focused, leaving room for a more relatable, personality-driven
brand.Brand Positioning & Content Direction
Established a distinct tone of voice and defined content pillars aligned with audience behavior, shifting
the brand from generic product display to lifestyle and experience-driven storytelling:
• Relatable everyday moments
• Product in real-life scenarios
• Social proof and user-generated contentInfluencer & PR Strategy
Built a structured influencer marketing framework from scratch, shortlisting relevant micro-influencers
for higher engagement, designing PR box campaigns, and creating outreach messaging and content
guidelines.Campaign & Content Ideation
Proposed launch-style campaigns to create moments, not just posts, including giveaways,
collaboration-based growth tactics, and Reel concepts optimized for discoverability:
• “First impressions” influencer reaction videos
• Unboxing experiences designed for shareability
• Relatable problem-solution content formatsConversion-Focused Thinking
Guided the brand on turning engagement into action, leveraging social proof to build trust and aligning
content with the customer decision-making journey from awareness to purchase.
Project Overview
Smileie Aus came to me at a pivotal stage in their brand journey. They had a strong product and
genuine ambition to grow, but no clear direction. With no defined brand positioning, inconsistent
content, and uncertainty around influencer marketing, they needed a structured partner to build their
strategy from the ground up.
The Challenge
• No clear brand identity or differentiation in the market
• Inconsistent content with no defined pillars or themes
• Uncertainty around influencer partnerships; who, how, and why
• No defined growth plan, content calendar, or campaign roadmap
