I’m Al Stellakis, a narrative designer focused on cohesion and meaningful player experiences. I craft story and dialogue to tie together mechanics, world-building, and systems across games, always aiming to give the player’s journey context and purpose. I believe narrative is the layer that gives meaning to action and depth to the world. I collaborate with designers, artists, animators, and backend teams to ensure the game communicates value and resonates emotionally. I ask difficult questions about why players act, how a world can show its values without text, and what the gameplay says about characters and themes; and I design the answers.
