I’m Here to Say Goodbye | 15-Minute Narrative Podcast Musical
Project Overview:
Lead Music Producer and Arranger for a 15-minute original podcast-style musical. I was tasked with taking raw melodic sketches and voice memos from the writer and expanding them into fully realized, professionally orchestrated musical chapters.

My Role & Deliverables:

Sketch-to-Score Reconstruction: Translated rough vocal and piano demos into diverse arrangements ranging from intimate acoustic ballads to high-energy ensemble pieces.

Thematic Continuity: Developed musical motifs that evolved throughout the 15-minute runtime to reinforce the story’s emotional arc and character development.

Hybrid Production & Mixing: Integrated live-tracked Guitar, Bass, and Banjo with premium orchestral samples to create an “expensive,” stage-ready sound on a podcast-friendly scale.

Vocal-Centric Engineering: Meticulously carved out “vocal pockets” in the mix to ensure the dialogue and lyrics remained the focal point, regardless of the arrangement’s complexity.

Key Outcome:
Successfully delivered a cohesive, narrative-driven audio package that satisfied the writer’s vision while elevating the production value far beyond the initial demo stage. This project serves as a prime example of my ability to “humanize” digital drafts into professional assets.
