Hi, I’m Amirali Shahidi, a computer science student at Wilfrid Laurier University pursuing an Honours BSc in Computer Science, expected to graduate in 2028. I’m passionate about software development, cybersecurity, and building practical solutions that have real-world impact. Last year I completed a remote cybersecurity internship with Styx Intelligence, where I helped identify vulnerabilities, conducted threat research, documented findings, and collaborated with a globally distributed team across multiple time zones. I’m always eager to learn new tools and apply them to new challenges. Outside of studies and work, I contribute as a volunteer with Ismaili Volunteers and West Vancouver Community Centre, organizing events, coordinating volunteers, and supporting community programs. I enjoy leadership activities, planning logistics for youth and community events, and creating content that informs and engages. I’m fluent in English and have strong comprehension of Farsi, and I’m also exploring AI tools, video editing, and collegiate esports as hobbies.
