    This is the first single from my new band called The Nicholls Project.
    I wrote the song and produced the video myself.

    Self-Care

    I wrote the song back in March 23. It was one of those songs that just fell out. The melody, words and piano happened in moments. It wrote itself as so many of the best ones do. The song itself is an accurate reflection of my little world at that time. I needed a complete health overhaul and found it really difficult (as so many of us do) to focus on myself in such detail.
    It was such a clear restart. I think that’s why I chose it as the first song from the album. A way to introduce myself as the artist I have now become. I feel like I am just beginning to emerge out of a very old chrysalis possibly. ;)
