Ana Margú (Ana Martín García) is an experienced illustrator and writer based in Madrid, focused on children’s publishing, fantasy and sci-fi storytelling, and educational creativity through workshops, exhibitions, and original editorial work. She combines socio-educational training with design tools to create books, prints, and collectible projects that entertain and teach.
One of her latest picture-books as an illustrator and a writer - ‘Cartas a las Olas’ (‘Letters to the Waves’) received the “Elia Barceló International Fantasy & Sci-Fi Picture Book Award” in 2024, and was published in 2025.
Besides, through workshops for children and youngsters, she collaborates with bookstores, schools, public entities and libraries to share joy, color, and imagination.
