paper From Products to System Architecture

This project explores the transition from a collection of well-designed products to a unified product ecosystem. While many lifestyle and tech accessory brands have successfully built a wide range of products across multiple categories, the overall user experience often remains fragmented, with each product functioning independently. As a result, users are required to manually bridge interactions between charging, organization, and everyday usage, creating unnecessary friction in what should ideally be a seamless experience.

Through a detailed analysis of user behavior and product line structure, this project identifies a key gap: the absence of a central product that can organize, connect, and enhance the interaction between multiple products. Drawing from established ecosystem design principles, the study proposes a strategic direction where a central “anchor product” enables continuity, coherence, and intuitive interaction across the entire product lineup.

The focus is not on introducing more standalone products, but on redefining how existing and future products can work together as a system. By shifting from a product-led approach to a system-led approach, the project aims to demonstrate how unified design thinking can elevate both user experience and long-term product value.

    paper CMF and rendering

This project was a comprehensive study in rendering, where I researched, explored, and experimented with various rendering techniques and styles. My process involved creating custom textures, modeling products, and refining visual outputs through iterative testing. I utilized industry-standard software, including Blender, Adobe Substance 3D Painter, Rhino, and Fusion 360, to achieve high-quality renders. This study allowed me to deepen my understanding of materials, lighting, and realism in digital visualization.
