When I made this, I wanted to show the importance of picking up your cross when walking with Christ.
“Pick Up Your Cross!
Deny yourself and follow what God teaches! Do the part you were called to do by the Lord. And if you don’t know, talk to him and ask him what he wants you to do! Jesus didn’t die for nothing. Through him, we have connection to the Father!
It’s not an easy walk! But when that storm comes, God/Jesus will be right there when you need him.”

Backstory/Concept:
Because I’m “Bat Artay” on various socials (since 2016), “Batties” have been what I called these creatures.
Batties are elemental bats. Some have wings, some don’t. How they look, coordinates to their environment.
Character Description:

“I didn’t have an idea for I was doing, no plan, no anything. It sort of developed as I went on!
I decided that since the batties are elements, why not have main leaders for each element?
Douse has 4 pet guppies that are always coming along with her wherever she goes! Her dress is made of flowing water; because of that, it can’t connect to any body of water making it easier for travel.”

While I was in Traverse city with my sister, assassinating her (an actress) and the camera crew with a commercial, the house we were filming in was made by a retired architect named Jeff Zokas. He has a dog named Zeke! While I was there I was drawing him and studying how he looks so I can get him accurately.
