uniE621 Catenians: Brand identity and marketing
Brief Catenians are a Catholic association supporting men and their families through friendship in faith. Each year Catenians GB hold a national conference, but after previous events having a reduced attendance, they required professional event design and marketing to re-engage its audience. Solution After establishing the event theme, I designed the visual event theme that would translate to all marketing material, building a cohesive and consistent visual brand identity. Then, with a roadmap to raise awareness, numerous marketing materials were created, e.g. Save the date email and 4-page handout. The event’s attendance increased by almost 25% and some attendees said it was the best annual conference in years.
uniE621 George Bain Consulting: Brand identity
Brief After many years leading learning and development teams in large corporations, George set up his own business in 2021, George Bain Consulting. As the business gained momentum, George required a rebrand as his brand was originally set up by himself and recognised it would hinder any further growth long-term. Solution Following a brand consultation, a proposal was created to suggest a visual brand identity reflective of GBC’s unique value position. The brand is inspired by George’s passion for building relationships/connections and smooth, happy processes in a well-ran organisation. Once the overall brand was approved, the visual brand was translated to required brand materials, e.g. PPT template.
uniE621 Authority Agency: Brand identity, marketing, advertising
Brief Authority Agency specialises in supporting agencies in the marketing industry maximise their sales and marketing strategies to increase revenue and authority. It was my role to first set up the visual brand identity reflective of the client’s ambitions to be thought-leaders. Then on an ongoing basis, there were monthly design requirements for marketing and training material to aid their work and maintain its unique value position. Solution Authority Agency’s visual brand provides an effortless premium aesthetic. The logo’s words over two levels indicates growth and the slant provides a stylistic “edge”, which is reinforced and emphasised in the design style. Black is used as the dominant colour to ooze its premium value, with pops of colour and imagery reflective of their target audience.
uniE621 No Ordinary Hospitality: Motion graphics
Brief No Ordinary Hospitality (NOH) is a hospitality management agency supporting various Warwickshire brands. NOH utilise the brands’ sites as part of their advertising platform. On a quarterly basis, we work together to create animated digital ads that are displayed across each location. Ads include but not limited to: offers, services and upcoming events. Solution Each brand had no existing ad design style to follow, which was only damaging their brand awareness. Therefore it was important to first set up the brands’ ad style for longevity. Once created, each quarter’s ad campaigns ran smoothly following NOH’s marketing calendar. And in a world where video is ever-more prevalent, ads were also animated to elevate content and engage its audience.
    uniE621 Charity Link: Marketing
Brief Charity Link is a Leicestershire, Northamptonshire and Rutland charity supporting vulnerable people in financial hardship. Fundraising and marketing are essential arms to the charity. And as part of their 2025 activity, they are running ‘Monthly Challenge Community’, raising potentially smaller monthly funds with the goal of a bigger annual total. Solution Like any well-intentioned activity, it can only be successful with a strong brand identity and consistent marketing. The key solution to this project was to create a visual identity that is both recognisable as Charity Link but acts as a brand in itself. Most of the charity’s marketing is more corporate led, which gave the opportunity to be more playful to create an fun, engaging campaign.
