André Buttler

I’m an orchestral composer, creating music that gives stories a clear emotional voice.

Independent films and games often need more than something that simply “sounds cinematic.” They need music that understands pacing, character and atmosphere — without the resources of a major studio production. I focus on building themes and instrumental sound worlds that feel intentional, grounded and true to the narrative.

My work is rooted in orchestral and instrumental writing. Whether the score is intimate and chamber-based or built around a larger ensemble, the goal is always the same: music that supports the story instead of overpowering it.

I work closely with directors and developers to shape a musical language that fits their project from the inside out — clear, purposeful and emotionally precise.

If you’re looking for music that strengthens your film or game’s identity rather than just filling space, I’d be glad to hear about your project.
