I am a graduate of Stony Brook University with a double major in Computer Science and Applied Mathematics/Statistics. My interests include Software Development, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.
In the summer of 2021, I worked as a summer tech intern at UnitedHealth Group, which specializes in using software tools and databases to manage healthcare infrastructure and associated pipelines for enhancing medical technology. My responsibilities included adding documentation and unit tests to code projects essential to the health plan infrastructure at UnitedHealth. The documentation helped new users understand how to use these tools more efficiently. The unit tests were to ensure that if a bug somehow happened, a user would be notified almost immediately. These combined factors helped make the code more resilient and less prone to errors.
In the summer of 2022, I worked as a software engineer intern for C.H. Robinson, which specializes in software and hardware to assist in global transportation infrastructure, including tracking shipping orders and customers sending or receiving the orders’ items. My team was responsible for managing and maintaining the software used for accessing, editing and sorting data such as customer information, order information, and ticket requests. I designed new functionalities for the software, and fixed a lot of bugs and security vulnerabilities on a regular basis. I helped streamline data migration tools that enable efficient access and interaction of customer information between proprietary systems. I also designed the User 2.0 class for Migration Tools, in order to easily track and manage customer accounts by functional relationships. I collaborated with teams to define testing strategies and drove quality throughout the engineering lifecycle through unit and integration tests. I wrote code using secure programming patterns and by finding, fixing, and enhancing security in the existing applications.
Continuing into the fall of 2022 and early 2023, I received a job offer as a software engineer at C.H. Robinson from the summer internship. I was responsible for the full software development life cycle of the enhanced global supply chain technology platform. I worked closely with different functions to establish parameters and develop an improved system framework. I performed evaluation and analysis, and transformed data requirements into detailed improvement design. I streamlined data migration tools that enable efficient access and interaction of customer information between proprietary systems. Increased efficiency through customized functionalities, automation, optimization and predictive analytics. I also defined interfaces and developed codes for modules across products and platforms based on information flows and application dependencies.
I am strong in computer programming, statistics, and math skills. I am resilient and a quick learner. I will work very hard.
