I am Adrian Preater, a theatre-maker, actor, content creator and company leader based in Shrewsbury. I run Hotbuckle Productions as Managing Director and Artistic Director, writing and developing original work and bold adaptations for touring productions with a small ensemble. I direct, write, design, and oversee all stages of production, from budgeting to touring logistics, with a focus on audience engagement and education. My career spans stage, screen and voice work, including appearances in The Bill, EastEnders, Gosford Park, Love Actually and other features, as well as theatre collaborations with Oddsocks, Major Road, House Theatre, London Bubble and more. I also produce voiceovers and many audio projects for clients such as Bunny Studio and Voices.com, and I’m passionate about community projects and developing new audiences, especially for young people and diverse communities. I have recently finished collaborating as the writer on a new musical for Key stage 2 children called Defrosted which is available from MusicLine. I also write and improvise self help videos for men - "A day in the life of a nobody" available on most social media platforms.
