My name is Angharad and for the majority of my life, my heart has been set on animation. I recently graduated from Escape Studios with a first in 3D Animation and I am ready to get into the industry and start contributing my skills towards different projects. During my time at Escape Studios, I had practical experience in different creative roles. We had the chance to make two short films in my second year and another two in my third. I took on the role of producer for three, lead animator for two, and editor for one. As a producer, one of my main focuses was organisation. I was responsible for maintaining detailed schedules tracking the progress of the film, the making of assets, the VFX pipeline, the feedback provided, and the team's schedule; updating schedule trackers daily to ensure productivity. Thanks to this, spreadsheets have become second nature to me. I also had the opportunity to liaise with studios such as ILM (Industrial Light and Magic) on a bimonthly basis, where they would provide valuable feedback on how we could strengthen our work. As a result, our films have won several awards, including the ‘Hollywood Gold Silver Award for Best Short Film’. This experience has led me to be able to converse with clients on a professional basis and uphold my work to a professional standard. In my role as an editor, it was crucial that I was skilled in Adobe to take this role. I have experience in Adobe Photoshop, Premiere, and After Effects.
