October 3, 1994 - June 27, 1997
With two BTEC National Diplomas in design, I felt a strong calling to pursue a career in graphic design and joined the BA Hons Degree in Communication Media course at KIAD in Maidstone. In the first year, I relearned the basics of visual arts and art history. In my second year, I gravitated towards specialising in graphic design. I also had the opportunity to study in Paris for three months as a part of the Erasmus project, where I learned art theory and offset litho printing, all in French! In the final year, I prepared to enter the working world by submitting a final project that focused on creating a brand identity for a fictional music label. I graduated with Upper Second Class Honors, full of excitement and apprehension about the future that would unfold.
